Geophysical Methods - Overview
Technos has pioneered the use of geophysical methods to environmental,
geotechnical, and groundwater applications. Geophysical methods provide
measurements of physical, chemical, or electrical properties associated with
subsurface features. They are used to non-invasively sample large areas
and provide more complete coverage than borings alone. Geophysical
methods can be applied on scales ranging from regional to site-specific; on land
or under water. Each method has its advantages and limitations, and
